Sunday Reflection

A coin has two sides, one identifies the issuing authority, and one refers to history or culture. We are made in the image of God, indelibly stamped with God’s character. But this stamp comes with responsibility, belonging to God means belonging to each other. We have rights and duties of love. Give to others what belongs to others; give to the poor what belongs to the poor. Our work for hunger, education etc is not a charity for people; it is justice. Everyone has a right to the food of the earth and the food of the mind. It’s not charity when people are given food, education, a home, freedom of religion, freedom of speech – it is justice.

Little did we know 5 months ago that the Tamworth support Isolation Group, offering food…
Sadly, Fr Srinu’s time with us in the parish is soon coming to an end.
It has been wonderful over the last two weekends to have people back at Mass.
