Sunday Reflection

To believe in our own personal resurrection is a wonderful gift in this life. It gives meaning to all that makes up our lives. It is expressed also in our prayers that we offer for the repose of the souls of all those who have gone before us, which gets great emphasis during this month of November. At the doorway of death life is changed, not ended.
We can’t know what happens after our bodies die. We know that people live on in our hearts and our memories. We know that they live on through their influences on us, in the ways that they have shaped our lives. We hear the assurance of Jesus last line in this passage – God is the God of the living – and to God all are living.

Jump Xtreme and a Silent Disco were two activities that Dan ran in half-term.

Thank-you for welcoming him and especially to over 120 people who came to that light lunch on Sunday.

2018 was an exciting year for our parish.
