Sunday Reflection

Prayer can often feel like a long mountain walk! We don’t always have the stamina and can wonder if it’s worth it. But if we give quality time to our prayer life, it is always worthwhile. In our journey to God we have peak moments, when the ground is holy, like Peter, we want them to last for ever. But Jesus, as he did with Peter, James and John brings us down the mountain and prepares us for what could be hard times ahead.
Prayer moments may often be transfiguration moments when we glimpse the beauty of Jesus Christ and we commit ourselves to ‘listen to him' as God invites.
