19th March 2020

Chester Road,
Sutton Coldfield,
West Midlands,

Fr Andrew Robinson, a former solicitor, was ordained priest in 2003. Immediately after ordination he undertook studies at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome, obtaining a Licentiate in Sacred Scripture in 2008. Men's Weekend Retreat

8th - 10th May 2020

Sion Community
Sawyers Hall Lane
Brentwood
CM15 9BX

A weekend retreat for men of all ages who desire to draw closer to God
Lift up your heads; liberation is at hand (Luke 21:28)

The Lord invites us to fix our eyes on him. Our tendency is to self-reliance in the face of the everyday circumstances of life. We become self focused! What is your mind fixed on? Where is your heart leaning? On what foundation are you building?

The weekend is a response to a great need in the hearts and lives of men within the Church. Its purpose is to help each man in his unique journey to become the person God created him to be.

As part of the programme, Mass and the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be celebrated. Facilitators include Michael Coughlan, Peter Moran and Edwin Fawcett, all of whom have years of experience of walking with the Lord and accompanying men in their journey of faith.

We hope you can join us for this dynamic weekend in the company of other men
and enjoy a time of sharing, learning, ministry and fellowship, all in the relaxed
and prayerful setting of the Sion Community.
